Please read these Terms of Service carefully before using Kumaran Shopy's in-store services or website. These terms govern your relationship with us.

Acceptance of Terms

By visiting Kumaran Shopy (in-store or online) and making purchases, you agree to be bound by these terms of service. If you do not agree, please refrain from using our services.


Products & Pricing

All prices displayed are in Indian Rupees (INR) and include applicable taxes. Prices may change without prior notice. We reserve the right to correct pricing errors. Product availability is subject to stock. Photographs are for illustration only and actual products may vary. We guarantee fresh produce and quality goods. Expired or damaged products will be replaced immediately upon request.


Orders & Payment

Orders are confirmed only upon payment. We accept Cash, UPI and Cards. For home delivery orders, full payment is required in advance via UPI or cash on delivery as agreed. Kumaran Shopy reserves the right to cancel orders in exceptional circumstances with a full refund within 5-7 business days.


UPI Payment Policy

We accept UPI payments (Google Pay, PhonePe, BHIM, WhatsApp Pay, etc.) for convenience. UPI transactions are processed through secure gateways. Once payment is confirmed via UPI, your order is immediately locked and cannot be cancelled. Payment failures will automatically refund to your UPI ID within 24-48 hours. For any UPI transaction disputes, please contact us with your transaction ID and we will resolve within 3 business days.


Refunds & Returns

Products can be returned within 2-3 days of purchase if unopened and in original condition. Full refund will be credited to the original payment mode within 7-10 business days. For UPI transactions, refunds will be sent to the UPI ID used for payment. Items can be exchanged for free if defective or damaged at the time of delivery. No return accepted for perishable items (fruits, vegetables, dairy) beyond 24 hours unless defective.


Home Delivery Terms

Home delivery is available within Thiruvattaru and select surrounding areas. Free delivery on orders above ₹500. Delivery times are estimates only and may vary based on demand, distance and weather conditions. Someone must be available to receive the delivery. Delivery charges for orders below ₹500 will be displayed at checkout. We are not responsible for items left unattended at your delivery location. Customers must inspect items at delivery and report any issues immediately.


Product Quality & Warranty

We guarantee the quality and freshness of all products. Fresh produce is sourced daily from verified suppliers. Dairy products are refrigerated and checked for expiry. All packaged goods are checked for validity before dispatch. Defective or damaged products will be replaced free of cost. For perishable items, quality issues must be reported within 24 hours of delivery. We honor standard manufacturer warranties on all packaged goods.


Customer Rights & Protections

As a customer, you have the right to accurate product information, transparent pricing, and safe transactions. We comply with all consumer protection laws under the Indian Consumer Protection Act, 2019. Customers can file complaints through our customer support team. We respect your data privacy and will never share personal information without consent. All customer transactions are secured with SSL encryption.


Intellectual Property

The Kumaran Shopy name, logo, website content and all associated materials are the intellectual property of Kumaran Shopy. You may not reproduce, distribute or use these materials without prior written permission.


Limitation of Liability

Kumaran Shopy is not liable for any indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of our services. Our total liability shall not exceed the value of the product(s) in question. This does not affect your statutory consumer rights under Indian law.


Safety & Hygiene Standards

We maintain strict hygiene and food safety standards as per FSSAI guidelines. All staff handling food items are trained in food safety. Products are stored in temperature-controlled environments. We use clean, food-grade packaging materials. All our suppliers are certified and regularly inspected.


Dispute Resolution

In case of any dispute, please contact us first at 09487870017 or visit our store. We aim to resolve all issues within 7 days. If unresolved, you may escalate to our management. For serious consumer disputes, complaints can be filed under the Consumer Protection Act with the District Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission, Kanyakumari.


Governing Law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Kanyakumari, Tamil Nadu.


Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of our services after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new terms. We will notify customers of significant changes via our website or email.
